Father George Kanshamba was born on November 30, 1968, in Luanshya, Zambia. His father was a principal at an elementary school and his mother was a teacher at a Catholic school called Dagama run by the Franciscan Sisters. Father George was ordained a priest in the Catholic diocese of Ndola in Zambia on August 8, 1998. In his pastoral ministry, Father George served in the following capacities:

Father George is specialized in video shooting, graphics and editing. He was an executive director of Isaiah II Studio, a Catholic Studio which he founded to promote evangelization of the Word of God through electronic media: audio and video. Father George was greatly involved in the Catholic Renewal Movement as one of the formidable preachers and had produced a series of evangelization videos that were recorded on DVDs.
Pastoral Duties in New York Archdiocese: Father George has been Parochial Vicar at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua since September of 2014.
